We are delighted to share our practical guide for the preservation of filmstrips. This guide is shaped by discussions held during our international workshop with archivists in November 2025, and further aided by feedback from other European and non-European archives. The guide not only seeks to enhance archival knowledge of filmstrip collections but also aims to offer a template to preserve and make valuable other obsolete and overlooked media forms. We are also sharing the proceedings from the workshop as a further resource here.
